The Induction... The Journey Has Begun+ WIMBIZ annual conference

Yes, people!

Finally, the race of a new generation of Makeup artistes has begun. On Monday, I was there at our Ikeja facility,where the finalists for the House of Tara Scholarship scheme were inducted.

The WIMBIZ(Women In Management and Business) annual conference would commence on Tuesday,3rd and 4th of November, 2009. The theme is 'Change the game and make a difference'. It would at the Expo hall, Eko Hotel and Suites,V/Island lagos.
Women, are you ready? because I am. Already, Speakers from 'Vital Voices' have arrived for this historical event.

Vital Voices Global Partnership is the preeminent non-governmental organization (NGO) that identifies, trains, and empowers emerging women leaders and social entrepreneurs around the globe, enabling them to create a better world for us all. It was established in 1997 by then-First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, and I am privileged to be a member.

WIMBIZ is a non-profit organisation that seeks to improve the success rate of female entrepreneurs and increase the proportion of women in senior positions in corporate organizations, and I am a member as well.

So, you see people, i really cannot wait for Tuesday to come.

More on House of Tara Scholarship Scheme

Hi people! I'm so sorry about the un-avoidable absense but i'm back now ...
"FOR GOOD".
I would also like to apologise for the current look at our victoria Island office;
we are currently undergoing a renovation phase that would pass very soon...watch out for the new look of House of Tara International.

For matters and gist that i am sure so many people have been waiting for as regards the scholarship program:
The list of the successful candidates that made it through the first round of the screening excercise for the scholarship program will be posted on the blog, Facebook and our website tomorrow,15th of october, 2009.
These shortlisted candidates will be notified and would come to the office at Ikeja for an oral interview, after this process,the finalists will be selected.
So, keep your fingers crossed and do all you have to do in preparation for the unveiling of these finalists by this time tomorrow.

Scholarship Program Time Table of Activities

For all who applied for the Scholarship Program, please find below the
timetable of activities:

Sept 30th 2009 - Closing Date for the Submission of entries

October 12th 2009 - Completion of the shortlisting process and
communication to the successful candidates to come for interview

October 14th 2009 - Interview of successful candidates, screening and final
selection

October 19th 2009 - Final selection and communication to the successful
candidates

October 26th 2009 - Commencement of the Training Program.
